Athletics Facts and Figures
Here is an interesting dataset on Dartmouth athletics expenditures (on a team-by-team basis) and participation. Note that you'll have to search for Dartmouth in the database.

I imagine that they don't count lost tuition revenue in the form of "increased financial aid" as part of "operating expenses."

Seeing as how reevaluation of a financial aid package to meet competing offers is something they do for all students who request it, regardless of athletics status, I don't believe they would. But I didn't collect the data and the report didn't explicitly say, so I can't say for sure.
